Change Management
“There is nothing permanent except change.” – Heraclitus.
Every organization has to face changes, adapt, and change to enable growth and success. But is it always manageable to transit or have a change and gain success? To solve the question there is change management.
Change management is an approach that ensures a smooth and strategized shift. There are principles of it. Those are:
1. Have an understanding of the change. To gain maximum out of it, one must be able to know it in depth with clarity. Here are some questions that will provide clarity. Ask yourself:
– What is the need for the change, and does it have any key objectives?
– How will this change benefit the organization? Is the impact positive?
– How should people work to have a successful change?
2. Planning and strategizing is a must to have a successful change. For this, one can look for collaboration, sponsorship, or to include highly specialized and expert people. Also, predict the goals and targets the organization would like to achieve.
3. Executing the plan and implementing strategies. For an effective application of techniques, the organization must motivate and encourage people to find growth in the change. Ensure that there is enough involvement of people required.
4. Communicate your change clearly and make people understand the reason and benefits. Spread awareness about your transition and make people know about it.
A coach takes care of all the core principles and ensures that the change is smooth and successful for the organization.
