Resilience
All of us go through some other crises. But do we all recover with the same speed? Or do we recover in the same way? It is different for all of us and we all have our unique way to cope.
Resilience is the ability to handle and recover from difficulties and crises. Everyone takes their own time to rebound and recover depending on the intensity of the crisis and its duration. For example, someone who is going through a financial crisis might apply for more jobs with higher salaries and cut down expenses. While someone going through an identity crisis might require professional support.
Some ways through which one improve resilience:
1. Stay motivated and encouraged. Be it whatever situation, continue to work and put effort to get the desired results.
2. Self-awareness: take care of yourself and be kind rather than neglecting your needs. Give time to yourself, understand, and accept yourself.
3. Be flexible and adapt to change. Rigidity leads to stagnation of self-growth. Adapting and adjusting are essential at the time of crisis.
4. Change the perspective: understand that mistakes in the past teach several lessons that can be helpful in a future crisis.
